Membership Application
Membership shall, with limited exception, be restricted to child and adolescent psychiatrists who head ACGME-accredited child and adolescent psychiatry sections, divisions or free-standing departments within or affiliated with any accredited U.S. or Canadian medical school that has an ACGME-accredited child and adolescent training program. Heads of child and adolescent psychiatry sections, divisions, or freestanding departments within or affiliated with any accredited U.S. or Canadian medical school that do not have an ACGME-accredited child and adolescent training program may request to apply for membership. Any individual who ceases to be a director shall cease to be an Active member. If an individual has had a cumulative five years as a Member, he or she may request a transfer to Emeritus Member status.
Please include a letter from the Chair of the Department of Psychiatry or Dean of the School of Medicine verifying your directorship of the program (a template has been provided for your convenience).

Dues are paid per calendar year.

$310 Active members ($160 after July 1)
$207 Emeritus members ($107 after July 1)
$104 Emeritus Fully-Retired members (Fully-Retired; receives no income from CAP)
